Do you also find it challenging to keep up-to-date records of the diverse inventory of maintenance materials? Would you like to quickly and efficiently monitor your machines and equipment? If so, I recommend the inventory function of the t-method software.
In the t-method CMMS module, we manage the list of our machines, equipment, and tools, which are assigned to specific locations within the software. Additionally, this module is where we access the material warehouse, where the stock of indirect materials is tracked and recorded at designated storage locations.
This raised the question of how we can assist users in having up-to-date information on inventory at these usage and storage locations.
In the traditional inventory process, we print paper-based inventory sheets, on which we manually record the inventoried quantities. The t-method software also allows us to assess our inventory this way. We can retrieve and print inventory data for the entire warehouse stock or by usage location or storage location. The software interface enables the documentation of inventoried equipment and materials, and a single click allows users to record inventory discrepancies in the system.
A faster and more error-proof method is to use the inventory application available for Android or iOS. With this app, we can scan inventory items at their locations using barcodes or QR codes, ensuring accurate identification of each item. During inventory, the found items can be reviewed with a single click, and at the end of the process, it’s possible to generate a discrepancy report directly within the app.
